Make it better . . .

You’ve put in a large amount of work on this site, and I understand that the group dynamic has at times been very difficult.

What you do need to do is a slide show of the photographs that you have taken, and post that to your Blog.

Your preliminary site isn’t fully functional - the Media page must be working properly as a full page. There isn’t a link back to the home page. The blank pages would need a link back to the home page.

Your main website currently has no video, and this must be rectified. Currently your total mark for your production piece )out of 60) would be 20 or less, because of the lack of video, and with the preliminary site in its present state you would lose more marks. Your main site is a good solid site, so don’t lose it.

There is basic research into similar products and a potential target audience, and this can easily be upgraded by work on the survey. There is organisation of actors, locations, costumes or props (this is what the exam board asks for) - in the context of the military, the subjects of your photography aren’t something you can manipulate a great deal.

There is minimal work on shotlists, layouts, drafting, scripting or storyboarding. You must have a shotlist, and drafting. Your photos should feature in your blog. Time management is fair, but you have left work undone - some of this is due to the group ethic. There is good use of digital technology or ICT in the presentation.

The evaluation is incomplete, and it is really essential for you to go the the website and use the list of 7, post them in to your blog in the right order, and check against the list of things you need in your blog. You must include broad examples of your planning, including sketches!

Work to do - website: video, preliminary site. Blog: detailed evaluation, supporting statistics, examples of your work, the video and photographs.

Make it yours - it may seem unfair on you, but at the end of it I think you are capable of a good mark, and it needs to be a strong level 3, getting on towards a B.
